Add, amend, transform.

remodel / 1,500 sq. ft.

Six years after completing an addition to the original house, these clients wanted to pursue Phase 2.  Their wish list included a revised kitchen, a new hall bath and a transformation of an unused screen porch.  The architectural design would drive the change into a flex space that serves as sun room, sitting room with fireplace, and office space. The exterior envelope incorporates custom steel and glass, a stucco wall and a custom fabricated hickory window seat. A chef’s kitchen became the heart of the house, and the pantry, dressed in blackened steel, serves as the family’s “control center.”
