This ground-up residential build sits in the Hill Country just west of Austin. The couple’s German roots inspired the traditional farmhouse design elements. The layout fills 4000 SF and incorporates bedrooms and bathrooms for three young children, a playroom, large kitchen with butler’s pantry for baking prep and storage, guest suite with game room and large master suite. The family loves to be home together and entertain guests, so the design included elements for a resort-style feel. The master suite includes a workout room, large walk-in closet with access to laundry room, en suite sitting room with fireplace and access to outdoor shower, and a large bathroom with walk-in shower. The exterior maximizes relaxed access to the great Texas Hill Country weather—specifically utilizing a large covered deck with a dining space, generous lounge area, fireplace and fully equipped outdoor kitchen.
